It was a good run, but Cold Springs unfortunately witnessed the end of their six-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell to the Danville Hawks 55-51. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 59-50 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in December of 2018.

When it comes to explaining why Cold Springs lost, don't look at Kenady Graves. Despite the final result, she went 6 of 8 en route to 15 points and five assists. Graves is trending in the right direction considering she's improved her point production for three straight games. Another player making a difference was Ella Dickerson, who posted nine points and seven rebounds.

Even though they lost, Cold Springs smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 12 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in eight consecutive matches.

Cold Springs' defeat ended a seven-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 13-7. As for Danville, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which lines up perfectly with their 18-6 record this season.
