It was fun while it lasted, but Pampa's undefeated season came to an end after six games on Friday. They lost 9-2 to the Estacado Matadors. The Harvesters were red-hot at the plate heading into the game (they scored no less than ten runs in the five matchups prior), but the Matadors' pitchers proved too tough.

Having lost for the first time this season, Pampa fell to 6-1. As for Estacado, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-4.

Looking ahead, Pampa will face off against Decatur at 3:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Estacado, they will challenge Hereford at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Estacado's pitching crew has only allowed 3.9 runs per game this season, so Hereford's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
