Basketball Recap: Somerville Wins Going Away Against St. Joseph Catholic

Somerville can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. They took down the St. Joseph Catholic Eagles 53-37. That 16 point margin sets a new team best for the Yeguas this season.

The victory got Somerville back to even at 3-3. As for St. Joseph Catholic, they dropped their record down to 1-5 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Somerville won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Non Varsity Tournament Opponent at 11:30 a.m. on Friday. As for St. Joseph Catholic, they and Richards will face off at 9:00 a.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played.
