Basketball Game Preview: Glendale Adventist Cougars vs. Hillcrest Christian Saints

The Glendale Adventist Cougars will look to take advantage of their home court for the first time this season as they take on the Hillcrest Christian Saints at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Saturday, Glendale Adventist came up short against Newbury Park Adventist and fell 64-57. The Cougars have struggled against the Gators recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Hillcrest Christian unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They were dealt an 82-35 defeat at the hands of Legacy Christian Academy. The game marked the Saints' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Glendale Adventist's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Hillcrest Christian, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-11.

Glendale Adventist took a serious blow against Hillcrest Christian in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, falling 61-23. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point Glendale Adventist was down 38-9.
