Baseball Recap: Lee Central Falls Short of Horse Creek Academy in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Lee Central can now relate to. They took a 9-4 hit to the loss column at the hands of Horse Creek Academy on Thursday. Lee Central just can't catch a break and has now endured seven losses in a row.

Lee Central saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Karmelo Felder, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one run. Another was Nas Jackson, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases and one run.

Lee Central's defeat dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Horse Creek Academy, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 10-13.

Lee Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Horse Creek Academy, they have already played their next match, a 12-8 victory against Whitmire on the 10th.
