Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Roxana). They came out on top against the Carbondale Terriers by a score of 58-49 on Wednesday. The win was familiar territory for the Shells, who have now won three contests in a row.

Keelan Crawford was a one-man wrecking crew as he went 7-for-15 en route to 19 points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Aiden Stemm, who almost dropped a double-double with ten points and nine rebounds.

Roxana's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Carbondale, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-2.

Looking ahead, Roxana won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Maryville Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Carbondale, they will square off against Mt. Vernon at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The game will give the Terriers their first taste of in-conference action this season.
