Soccer Game Preview: Corinth vs. Greenville

The Corinth Warriors will face off against the Greenville Hornets on Saturday. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Corinth is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They never let Cleveland Central onto the board and left with a 7-0 victory. Considering the Warriors have won seven contests by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Meanwhile, Greenville had already won 11 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.9 goals) and they went ahead and made it 12 on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Trojans.

Corinth has also been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 13-7-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 44 goals over those ten games. As for Greenville, their victory bumped their record up to 16-1.
