Basketball Recap: Manor Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Kayden Chandler and Majer Hunt

Manor saw some tournament action on Thursday. They took a 52-48 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Southwest Dragons. The Mustangs have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Manor's loss came despite strong showings from Majer Hunt and Kayden Chandler. Hunt shot 56% from the field on his way to 11 points and six boards, while Chandler went 5-for-11 to rack up 11 points and three steals. Hunt is on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 56% in the last three games he's played. Jules Androh also deserves some recognition as he posted his first assist of the season.

Manor's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Southwest, their victory bumped their record up to 7-3.

Manor wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 47-43 defeat against Highlands on the 5th. As for Southwest, they have also already played their next matchup, a 64-61 win against Harlingen South on the 5th.
