Basketball Recap: TPLS Christian Academy's Luck Changes for the Better on Friday

TPLS Christian Academy can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They came out on top against the St. John's Catholic Prep Vikings by a score of 67-54.

Several Vikings players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Olivia Bolduc, who posted 18 points and six rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Cayenne Pigeon, who put up 12 points in addition to five boards and four steals.

TPLS Christian Academy's win bumped their record up to 4-8. As for St. John's Catholic Prep, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost six of their last seven games, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season.

TPLS Christian Academy and Cresset Christian Academy will round out the year against one another at at 2:30 p.m. on December 28th. As for St. John's Catholic Prep, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Mount de Sales Academy at 5:30 p.m. on January 6, 2025.
