Soccer Recap: Denton Takes a Loss

There was early excitement for Denton after they claimed the first goal on Tuesday, however, they wouldn't score again. They fell just short of the Argyle Eagles by a score of 2-1.

Denton's goal came courtesy of Brandon Perez, who's now up to two this season.

Denton has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-3 record this season. Argyle's win was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 11-3.

Coincidentally, Denton and Argyle will both be playing Ryan the next time they take the pitch. Argyle will host Ryan at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, while Denton will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
