Volleyball Game Preview: South Bend Saint Joseph Huskies vs. New Prairie Cougars

South Bend Saint Joseph is 0-10 against New Prairie since September of 2020 but things could change on Saturday. The Huskies will square off against the Cougars at 10:00 a.m. South Bend Saint Joseph will be strutting in after a win while New Prairie will be coming in after a defeat.

South Bend Saint Joseph is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They came out on top against Culver Academies by a score of 3-1.

Meanwhile, New Prairie lost 3-0 to Penn on Thursday.

While New Prairie was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-8, 27-25, 25-19.

New Prairie's loss dropped their record down to 13-17. As for South Bend Saint Joseph, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-15 record this season.

South Bend Saint Joseph might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from New Prairie in their previous meeting back in September. Can the Huskies avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
