The Indians walked away with a 54-45 win over the West Iredell Warriors for which the team can thank Sherrill, who went 8-for-11 on his way to 25 points in addition to eight boards and three steals. He is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as he's posted one of at least 45% in the last nine games he's played dating back to last season.

Despite the loss, West Iredell still got an impressive performance from Austin Bailey, who shot 50% from the field to rack up 17 points and six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Phil Maxey, who posted eight points and seven boards.

St. Stephens' victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for West Iredell, their defeat was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-2.
