Soccer Recap: Trinity Prep Takes a Loss

Trinity Prep lost against Geneva back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Trinity Prep Saints came up short against the Geneva Knights, falling 4-0. While losing is never fun, the Saints can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida soccer rankings (they are ranked 278th, while the Knights are ranked 113th).

This is the second loss in a row for Trinity Prep and nudges their season record down to 4-6-2. As for Geneva, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 9-1-2.

Trinity Prep does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Geneva, they will welcome Lyman at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Geneva knows how to get goals on the board -- the team has finished with four goals or more in their past four games -- so hopefully Lyman likes a good challenge.
