McClain suffers seventh straight loss on the road

The McClain Tigers's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their fourth straight loss. They were outmatched by Washington on the road and fell 68-36. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points McClain has scored all season.

Leading Washington to victory were Garrett Rickman and Isaiah Haithcock. Rickman scored 16 points along with seven steals, while Haithcock scored 21 points along with eight rebounds. That's the first time this season that Haithcock scored 15 or more points. Will Miller was another key contributor, scoring nine points.

McClain's loss was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-4. As for Washington, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 4-0.

McClain is on the road again on Tuesday and play against Lynchburg-Clay at 7:30 p.m. on December 19th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Ohio (Lynchburg-Clay is ranked 711th, while McClain is ranked 696th). As for Washington, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on Wilmington at 7:30 p.m. on December 19th. Wilmington has insisted on making their lastthree contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 1-2 during that stretch of close contests.
