Basketball Game Preview: Foshay Wolverines vs. Horace Mann UCLA Community Panthers

The Foshay Wolverines will head out on the road to face off against the Horace Mann UCLA Community Panthers at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Foshay is coming into the contest hot, having won their last four games.

Foshay is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Horace Mann UCLA Community, posting an 85-48 victory. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Wolverines with their most commanding win of the season.

Shomare' Gray was his usual excellent self, putting up 25 points and four steals. The matchup was his third in a row with at least ten points. Damari Jackson was another key player, scoring 16 points in addition to five boards and three steals.

Foshay was working as a unit and finished the game with 25 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in January of 2024.

Foshay pushed their record up to 9-10 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.2 points per game. As for Horace Mann UCLA Community, with the defeat, they broke their three-game winning streak and moved their record to 9-9.
