Softball Game Preview: Gunn Titans vs. Burlingame Panthers

The Gunn Titans will head out to take on the Burlingame Panthers at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with five consecutive losses apiece.

Sequoia hit Gunn with a four-run sixth inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Titans came up short against the Ravens, falling 11-3.

Tess Bogart made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

Meanwhile, Burlingame started off well but failed to capitalize on an early lead against Aragon. They took a 5-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Dons on Thursday.

Burlingame saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Madeline Koo, who got on base in three of her four plate appearances with one run.

Gunn's record now sits at 6-11. As for Burlingame, their record is now 3-10.
