Basketball Recap: St. Patrick Comes Up Short

St. Patrick lost against Mason County back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The St. Patrick Saints were outmatched by the Mason County Royals and fell 63-25. While losing is never fun, the Saints can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky basketball rankings (they are ranked 238th, while the Royals are ranked 56th).

St. Patrick has also traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-19 record this season. The victory (which was Mason County's fifth in a row) raised their record to 19-8.

As of now, neither St. Patrick nor Mason County have any future games scheduled.
