Volleyball Game Preview: Plattsmouth Blue Devils vs. Conestoga Cougars

The Plattsmouth Blue Devils will venture away from home to face off against the Conestoga Cougars on Tuesday. Plattsmouth is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.

Plattsmouth lost 3-0 to Louisville on Thursday.

Plattsmouth might've come up short, but they didn't make it easy on Louisville: every set was decided by exactly two points. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-23, 25-23.

Meanwhile, Conestoga was able to grind out a solid win over Arlington on Thursday, taking the game 2-0. The Cougars haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive victory against them.

Conestoga easily took the first set, but they let things get interesting in the other. The final score came out to 25-11, 25-18.

Conestoga's win bumped their record up to 10-4. As for Plattsmouth, their loss dropped their record down to 3-10.

Plattsmouth couldn't quite get it done against Conestoga when the teams last played back in October of 2024 as they fell 3-1. Can the Blue Devils avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
