Emma Byers made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over 5.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit (and not a single walk). Byers was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with four RBI. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high.
