Bedford has won three straight games at home, while Richland has won three straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Monday. The Bisons will host the Rams at 4:30 p.m. Bedford is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9.6 runs per game this season.
Bedford's hitters will try to repeat the strong performance they gave on Friday, when they got past Huntingdon's usually-dominant pitching crew. The Bisons blew past the Bearcats 10-1. The Bisons might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by six runs or more this season.

Emma Byers made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over 5.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off one hit (and not a single walk). Byers was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with four RBI. Those four RBI gave her a new career-high.
In other batting news, Lara Bulger was incredible, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. Leah Nee was another key player, going 2-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.
Bedford kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. They are 9-1 when they post 11 or more hits.
Meanwhile, Richland won against Bishop Guilfoyle on Thursday with five runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. The Rams sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 5-3 win over Bishop McCort. The Rams haven't had any issues with the Crushers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive victory against them.
Carissa Weld spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three runs (all of which were unearned) on five hits.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Sophie Burke, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, two runs, and one double. The team also got some help courtesy of Elle Ladika, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one double.
Bedford's win bumped their record up to 9-6. As for Richland, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
Bedford's speedy runners might be the difference in Monday's match. The Bisons have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.9 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Richland, though, as they've been averaging only 0.2 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Bedford continue to outrun the ball?
Everything went Bedford's way against Richland in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, as Bedford made off with an 11-0 victory. Will the Bisons repeat their success, or do the Rams have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
