South Oak Cliff had already won nine in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6 runs) and they went ahead and made it ten on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 19-3 margin over the Jefferson Patriots. Considering the Bears have won 14 contests by more than six runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Jazzmon Powell was a standout: he went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, one triple, and one RBI. That triple was his first of the season. The team also got some help courtesy of James Crain III, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI.

South Oak Cliff always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .778. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

South Oak Cliff's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-3. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games. As for Jefferson, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-20.
