Volleyball Recap: Augusta Takes a Loss

Augusta lost against Garden Plain back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Orioles fell 2-0 to the Owls. The Orioles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Leading Garden Plain to victory were Jaicey Stuhlsatz and Erin Smith. Stuhlsatz had four digs and two aces, while Smith had ten digs. That's the most aces Stuhlsatz has posted since September 4th. Kennedy Hayden also deserves some recognition as she had her first blocks of the season.

Augusta's defeat dropped their record down to 1-11-1. As for Garden Plain, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-4.

Augusta didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 victory against Douglass on the 27th. As for Garden Plain, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Winfield on the 27th.
