Softball Recap: Eastern Comes Up Short

Eastern's last matchup with Lynchburg-Clay could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Thursday. The Warriors came up short against the Mustangs, falling 7-0. The shutout was out of character for the Warriors seeing as the last time the team failed to score was back in March.

This is the second loss in a row for Eastern and nudges their season record down to 15-6. As for Lynchburg-Clay, they moved to 15-8 with that win, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

As of now, neither Eastern nor the Mustangs have any future games scheduled.
