Basketball Recap: Lawrenceville Gets the Win

On Saturday, the Lawrenceville Indians earned a 42-31 victory over the Arcola Purple Riders.

Among those leading the charge was Parker Hardiman, who went 6 for 8 on his way to 13 points and three steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayden Goff, who posted seven points and ten boards.

Lawrenceville's win bumped their record up to 10-4. As for Arcola, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 8-1.

Lawrenceville didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 64-54 loss against Mattoon on the 26th. As for Arcola, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 71-20 victory against Ramsey on the 26th.
