After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Lexington, Woburn Memorial was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They skirted past the Melrose Red Raiders 2-1. This was payback for Woburn Memorial, who suffered a 1-0 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Woburn Memorial's victory bumped their record up to 5-7-1. As for Melrose, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-8-2.
