Recap: Harvest Prep Academy Eagle vs. Tohono O'Odham Eagles
The Harvest Prep Academy Eagle lost against the Tohono O'Odham Eagles back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Harvest Prep Academy took a 52-40 hit to the loss column at the hands of Tohono O'Odham.
Harvest Prep Academy lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being KJ Legette, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 19 rebounds. That's the first time this season that Legette scored 15 or more points. Another player making a difference was Leo Cordova, who scored 15 points along with seven rebounds and two steals.
Even though they lost, Harvest Prep Academy smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 23 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Harvest Prep Academy's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Tohono O'Odham, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-9.
Coincidentally, both teams will both be playing A+ Charter School the next time they take the court. Harvest Prep Academy will host A+ Charter School at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, while Tohono O'Odham will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on February 5th.
