Basketball Recap: Westgate Makes It Six in a Row at Home

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Westgate had no problem doing just that on Friday. They came out on top against the St. Amant Gators by a score of 61-48. The win was familiar territory for the Tigers, who have now won three matches in a row.

Westgate pushed their record up to 21-12 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.3 points over those games. As for St. Amant, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 21-23 record this season.

We've got a battle between Tigers coming up. Loreauville will need to watch out since Westgate has now posted at least 55 points in their last three games. St. Amant does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
