Volleyball Recap: Poly Continues Home Dominance on Tuesday

There's no place like home for Poly, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They blew past the Vista del Lago Ravens 3-0 on Tuesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in March.

While Poly won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-15, 27-25.

Poly's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 20-5. As for Vista del Lago, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-17.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Poly will head out to take on Rancho Verde at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. As for Vista del Lago, they will venture away from home to face off against Hillcrest at 5:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Trojans will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Ravens surely won't give up without a fight.
