Soccer Recap: Pecatonica Comes Up Short

Pecatonica's game on Tuesday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They fell just short of the Byron Tigers by a score of 2-1. The result was an unpleasant reminder to Pecatonica of the 2-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2024.

Pecatonica now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Byron, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-1.

Coincidentally, Pecatonica and Byron will both be playing Stillman Valley the next time they take the pitch. The Tigers will head out to face the Cardinals at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Indians will host them at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
