Football Game Preview: Lee Ganders vs. Randle Lions + How To Watch

The Lee Ganders will head out to take on the Randle Lions at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Lee is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak.

Lee lost 41-21 to Terry on Friday.

Despite the defeat, Lee had strong showings from Elijah Brown, who rushed for 140 yards, and Jacob Ramirez, who rushed for 89 yards on only 11 carries. Brown's longest rush was for an incredible 75 yards.

Meanwhile, Randle didn't have too much trouble with Texas City on Friday as they won 25-7. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Lions' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Texas football rankings (they are ranked ninth, while the Stingarees are ranked 316th).

Randle's win came from a few key players Lee will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Ashton Johnson, who picked up 154 receiving yards and two TDs. Those 154 receiving yards gave him a new career-high. Tyler Skrabanek was another key player, throwing for 233 yards and three touchdowns on only 18 passes.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Randle was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 220 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 220 rushing yards every time they've taken the field this season.

One reason for the win was Randle's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for four sacks. Jalyn Burton was especially locked on to Texas City's QB and sacked him twice. Randle got some further help from Julian Gerena: he made 16 total tackles and defended one pass in addition to snagging an interception.

Lee's loss dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Randle, their record is now 6-0.

Lee took a serious blow against Randle when the teams last played back in October of 2024, falling 69-7. Thankfully for the Ganders, Sincere Timpson (who rushed for 128 yards and a pair of scores on only five carries) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
