Soccer Game Preview: Southside vs. Harlandale

The Southside Cardinals will square off against the Harlandale Indians at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Southside's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for six straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Southside's offense. They fell 2-0 to MacArthur on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, Harlandale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to Jay. While losing is never fun, the Indians can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas soccer rankings (they are ranked 449th, while the Mustangs are ranked 143rd).

Southside's loss dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Harlandale, their defeat dropped their record down to 14-13.
