Basketball Recap: Jackson Timberwolves vs. Lake Stevens Vikings
The Jackson Timberwolves can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They strolled past Lake Stevens with points to spare, taking the game 58-43. The victory was just what Jackson needed coming off of a 69-36 defeat in their prior contest.
Ryan Mcferran was his usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 22 points and 23 rebounds. He is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down ten or more in the last seven games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Colby Cooke, who scored 13 points.
Jackson's victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 12-7. As for Lake Stevens, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Mariner the next time they take the court. Lake Stevens will host Mariner at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday, while Jackson will head out to face them at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
