St. Agnes Academy's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They came out on top against the Dyer County Choctaws by a score of 2-0. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Stars as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

St. Agnes Academy's win bumped their record up to 4-8. As for Dyer County, with the loss, they broke their six-game winning streak and moved their record to 18-6.

Coming up, St. Agnes Academy will take on Summertown in a tournament on Saturday. As for Dyer County, they will be staying on the road on Saturday to face off against Ravenwood at 10:00 a.m.
