Softball Recap: Manheim Central Comes Up Short

After flying high against Palmyra last Wednesday, Manheim Central came back down to earth. Manheim Central came up short against the Red Land Patriots on Friday, falling 11-1. The match marked the Barons' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Manheim Central saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Emily Roeting, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

Manheim Central now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Red Land, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-1.

Coming up, Manheim Central will host Dover at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. As for Red Land, they will venture away from home to square off against Lower Dauphin at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
