Softball Recap: Lincoln County Drops Highest Score of Season Against Spring Hill

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lincoln County). They blew past the Spring Hill Raiders 17-1 on Tuesday. The Falcons haven't had any issues with the Raiders recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive victory against them.

Ava Harris was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. That's the fewest hits she has allowed since back in April of 2024. She was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with three RBI and one double.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Andi Stockstill, who went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and two RBI. Those two RBI gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Brinley Moran, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Lincoln County always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .613. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Lincoln County's record is now 7-3-1. As for Spring Hill, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Looking ahead, Lincoln County is taking a road trip to challenge Warren County at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Spring Hill, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Columbia Central at 5:00 p.m. on April 8.
