Football Recap: McLean Comes Up Short

After soaring to 39 points the game before, McLean was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They were beaten by the Happy Cowboys 48-12. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Cowboys recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

McLean's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Happy, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. McLean will face off against Hedley at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers will be up against the Owls' rather soft defense (which has allowed 63.4 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Happy, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Kress at 7:00 p.m. on the 17th.
