Baseball Recap: Cusick Comes Up Short

Cusick lost to Oroville on Friday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Panthers lost 13-3 to the Hornets. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cusick saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was David L, who went 1-for-2 with three RBI and one double.

Cusick's loss dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Oroville, they pushed their record up to 8-1-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Coincidentally, Cusick and Oroville will both be playing Curlew the next time they take the field. The Hornets will host the Cougars at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Panthers will host them at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
