Football Recap: Spring Creek Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Spring Creek had lost five straight at home dating back to last season, but on Friday they dropped down to 0-7 to make it six. They had to suffer through a 40-0 loss at the hands of the Rosewood Eagles. If the Gators were looking for revenge after losing 62-6 to the Eagles when the teams met back in September of 2019, then they'll just have to keep looking.

As for Rosewood, they picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 2-5. Their offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Bryson Hobbs was nothing short of spectacular: he rushed for 137 yards on only five carries. That's the most rushing yards he has posted since back in November of 2024.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Spring Creek will square off against Princeton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Gators will be up against the Bulldogs' rather soft defense (which has allowed 46.5 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Rosewood, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Midway at 7:00 p.m. on the 17th.
