Basketball Recap: Mark Morris Comes Up Short

Mark Morris was the 51-38 winner over Washougal when they last played one another two weeks ago, but their luck changed this time around. The Mark Morris Monarchs took a 48-30 bruising from the Washougal Panthers on Monday. The matchup marked the Monarchs' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for Mark Morris and nudges their season record down to 12-9. As for Washougal, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-12 record this season.

Coming up, Mark Morris will challenge Woodland at 7:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Washougal does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
