Poway has gone a perfect 3-0 against Fallbrook recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Titans will look to defend their home field against the Warriors at 4:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Poway has four straight victories, Fallbrook has three straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
Poway is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. Their pitchers stepped up to hand Ramona a 24-0 shutout on Saturday. The team's explosion at the plate also rewarded the Titans with their most commanding win of the season.
Poway got a great performance from Davis Rodriguez as he didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched. Rodriguez has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Poway let Parker Smith and Miles Wisdom run wild. Smith went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, six RBI, and four runs, while Wisdom got on base in four of his five plate appearances with one home run, five runs, and six RBI. Smith is becoming a predictor of Poway's success: when he posts at least three hits the team is undefeated (and 6-9 when he doesn't). Another player making a difference was Tyler Roy, who went 3-for-4 with two runs, two RBI, and one double.
Meanwhile, Fallbrook came up short against Westview on Friday, falling 17-1. The game marked the Warriors' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.
Fallbrook saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tyler Clapp, who went 1-for-3 with one double.
The win got Poway back to even at 9-9. As for Fallbrook, their loss dropped their record down to 3-14-1.
Poway was able to grind out a solid victory over Fallbrook when the teams last played back in May of 2024, winning 6-2. Will the Titans repeat their success, or do the Warriors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
