Baseball Game Preview: St. James Tigers vs. Licking Wildcats

A feisty cat fight will be fought as St. James Tigers face off against Licking Wildcats at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. St. James is looking for their season's first win.

On Saturday, St. James came up short against Boonville and fell 7-4.

Charles McCormick was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with two RBI and one double. Those two RBI gave him a new career-high. Jesse Hudson also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Meanwhile, Licking didn't have quite enough to beat Stockton on Tuesday and fell 7-6. The loss put an end to the Wildcats' undefeated start to the season.

St. James' defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Licking, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 2-1.
