Volleyball Recap: Betsy Layne's Undefeated Season over After Three Games

It was a proper cat-fight when Betsy Layne faced off against Shelby Valley on Thursday. The Bobcats fell 3-1 to the Wildcats. The loss put an end to the Bobcats' undefeated start to the season.

Having lost for the first time this season, Betsy Layne fell to 2-1. As for Shelby Valley, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

While Betsy Layne had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
