Forbush had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.8 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Friday. They were the clear victors by a 13-7 margin over the East Carter Raiders. Considering the Falcons have won seven contests by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Eli Wells was incredible, going 1-for-2 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. He is becoming a predictor of Forbush's success: when he posts at least two runs the team is undefeated (and 3-6 when he doesn't). Another player making a difference was Giovanni Casertano, who went 1-for-4 with three stolen bases, one run, and one double.

Forbush's victory bumped their record up to 9-6. As for East Carter, their loss dropped their record down to 4-4.

Forbush didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 13-4 defeat against Blazer on the 3rd. As for East Carter, they will take on West Carter at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Raiders are facing the Comets at the right time seeing as the Comets are stuck on a four-game losing streak.
