Cohasset has gone 8-2 against Rockland recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Skippers will head out on the road to face off against the Bulldogs at 4:30 p.m. Cohasset is coming into the game on a four-game losing streak.

Middleborough hit Cohasset with a four-run fifth inning on Thursday, which goes a long way in explaining the final result. The Skippers came up short against the Sachems, falling 10-2.

Cohasset saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tucker Bliss, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base. Owen Connell also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for Rockland's offense. They fell just short of Mashpee by a score of 2-0 on Monday. The defeat continues a trend for the Bulldogs in their meetings with the Falcons: they've now lost nine in a row.

Rockland also got a good showing from Braedan Nicholson, who pitched three innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits.

Rockland now has a losing record of 6-7. As for Cohasset, their loss dropped their record down to 4-8.

Cohasset couldn't quite get it done against Rockland when the teams last played back in May of 2024 as they fell 3-0. Can the Skippers avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
