Baseball Recap: Grady Comes Up Short

If Grady was feeling good fresh off their 17-0 takedown of Erasmus Hall last Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Falcons lost 13-2 to the Port Richmond Raiders on Wednesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Falcons in their meetings with the Raiders: they've now lost three in a row.

Grady saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jeremy Gonzalez, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-2.

Grady now has a losing record of 3-4. As for Port Richmond, they pushed their record up to 4-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Grady will face off against Telecommunication Arts Tech at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Port Richmond, they will be playing in front of their home fans against New Utrecht at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
