Softball Recap: North Judson-San Pierre Takes a Loss

Wednesday just wasn't the day for North Judson-San Pierre's offense. They came up short against the North Newton Spartans on Wednesday, falling 14-0. The Bluejays have struggled against the Spartans recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost meeting.

North Judson-San Pierre's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for North Newton, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-1-1.

Coming up, North Judson-San Pierre will challenge Pioneer at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Bluejays' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Panthers have averaged an impressive 7.7 runs per game this season. As for North Newton, they will head out on the road to challenge Winamac at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
