Recap: Alliance Bulldogs vs. Gering Bulldogs
The Alliance Bulldogs were the 34-29 winner over the Gering Bulldogs when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. Alliance fell 49-41 to Gering on Friday.
Despite the loss, Alliance still got an impressive performance from Jaelynne Clarke, who scored 17 points along with 8 rebounds and 8 steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Ciara Hudson, who scored 9 points along with 3 steals.
Among those leading the charge was Neveah Hrasky, who scored 22 points along with 6 rebounds. Jacelyn Brown was another key contributor, scoring 4 points along with 5 rebounds.
Alliance's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Gering, their victory bumped their record up to 1-0.
Alliance will look to defend their home court on Friday against North Platte. As for Gering, they will head out on the road to face off against Bridgeport on Tuesday.
