Basketball Recap: Dublin Scioto Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Dublin Scioto can now relate to. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 64-29 to the Westerville South Wildcats, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Wildcats this season, with their most recent defeat being a 64-29 loss last Thursday.

This is the second loss in a row for Dublin Scioto and nudges their season record down to 8-17. As for Westerville South, the victory was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 20-5.

Dublin Scioto does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Westerville South, they will face off against Bishop Watterson at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Westerville South knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past five contests -- so hopefully Bishop Watterson likes a good challenge.
