Volleyball Recap: Minerva Comes Up Short

After flying high against Canton South on Saturday, Minerva came back down to earth. The Lions took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the West Branch Warriors on Tuesday. The Lions were not able to make up for their defeat to the Warriors from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

Minerva now has a losing record of 2-3. As for West Branch, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Minerva will challenge rival Salem at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, West Branch is set to face off against their familiar foe Marlington at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
