Wakefield won the last time they faced Rolesville and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Wolverines blew past the Rams 5-0. Considering Wakefield have won five matches by more than four goals this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Rolesville with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Kayli Barlett (2), Mallory Stroud (2), and Sara Barlett.

Wakefield has been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-5-2 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 50 goals over those eight games. As for Rolesville, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-5-1.

Coincidentally, Wakefield and Rolesville will both be playing Millbrook the next time they take the pitch. The Wolverines will host the Wildcats at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Rams will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
