Soccer Recap: Lake City Falls to St. Charles in First Game of Season

Lake City unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They fell 4-2 to the St. Charles Fighting Saints on Thursday. If Lake City were looking for revenge after losing 2-0 to St. Charles when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lake City will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Winona at 7:00 p.m. on September 2. As for St. Charles, they will host Lourdes at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
